Bossman's Beeswax Blend

$5.00

Bossman’s Boutique highly recommends buying at least one jar of this maintenance blend. It is an all-food-safe mixture of beeswax, mineral oil, and carnauba wax. It is specifically made to bring out the luster of the wood, as well as fill in cracks and voids that show up from use over time.

Use on cutting boards when they begin to dry out. For new boards, we recommend using once a week for the first month, and then once a month or as needed after that. Cover the entire board by getting small dollops onto a paper towel or lint free rag, and rubbing into the surface. Let it settle overnight - the oil will soak into the wood to help keep it protected from warping, and wax will be left behind. Buff the remaining wax into the board by hand and your board should be as good as new!

To clean your boards, use warm water and a sponge - try to avoid bristles. Leave to dry by leaning against something if possible - do not let your board dry when it is flat on counter. Do not soak your board, this could lead to warping.
